    History
Jongnam Park received his BS (1999), MS (2001), and Ph.D. (2005) from the School of Chemical and Biological Engineering of Seoul National University, Korea. During his Ph.D. course under the direction of Prof. Taeghwan Hyeon, he conducted research on the synthesis and characterization of monodisperse magnetic nanocrystals. Since 2005, he had been a postdoctoral researcher at the National Creative Research Center for Oxide Nanocrystalline Materials, where he studied the mechanism of formation of uniform magnetic nanocrystals. After Ph.D., he joined Moungi Bawnendi's group as postdoctoral assoicate working and developing new synthetic methodology of nanomaterials for bio and enegy applications.
